What it solves
Most Singapore “leak” complaints are not leaks. They are hydrostatic pressure pushing moisture through concrete from the other side of the wall — a planter, a balcony, a neighbour's shower. A standard interior paint, even an anti-mould one, eventually blisters because the substrate is wet beneath the film.
WaterTite LX is the layer that stops that. It cures into a flexible membrane that passes vapour but blocks liquid water — the right physics for a tropical wet wall. You do not want to trap moisture inside the concrete; you want to stop it leaving through the painted face.

Where it belongs
- Bathroom wall–floor junctions and shower-back substrates, before tile.
- Condo planter walls and roof gardens where the inside face is a living wall.
- Basement concrete and storage rooms below grade.
- Aircon ledge perimeters with chronic condensate exposure.
How the layer stack works
- Surface prep — scrape blistered paint, neutralise efflorescence, fill hairlines.
- A sealer coat where the substrate is dusty or chalky.
- Full-coverage WaterTite LX at the documented wet-film thickness.
- Cure window — minimum 24 hours before overcoat, 7 days before tile.
- Perma-White Interior topcoat in your chosen Atelier shade on the visible faces.

Common questions
Where is WaterTite LX used in a Singapore home?
Bathroom wall–floor junctions and shower-back substrates; condo planter walls and roof gardens; basement concrete; aircon ledge perimeters with chronic condensate exposure. Anywhere liquid water, not just vapour, is the failure mode.
Is it a topcoat or a substrate layer?
A substrate layer. WaterTite LX goes on first and cures; Perma-White interior goes over it on visible wall faces. The waterproofer does the physics; the interior film does the look.
How long does the cure take in tropical humidity?
Touch-dry in two to three hours, recoatable in four to six, fully cured at seven days. Wet-zone work should be scheduled so the substrate is dry before tiling or fixtures return.
